A Short Story in The Greensboro Review
One day I wake up and I’m trapped inside of a TV show. It’s the pilot episode. It’s the scene where we get home from the hospital. This is where I pour all of the dish soap and all of the hand soap and laundry detergent into our bathtub and I put my shoes and socks and boots and pants inside and I turn on the water and I get in and sit. I drink Cold Duck in the dark because it’s the only thing we have in the house.
